Most of my songs have rhyming lines, this one was a departure from that as an experiment. Influenced by the meditation I have been doing everyday with the London Buddhist Centre on Zoom.
lyrics
Capo 3
Chorus
Can
You
Be the light in the
world
Can
You
Be whats right in the
world
you gotta
Stand up tall, be pre
pared to shout from the
Rooftops
You gotta
walk the walk
not just talk the talk
what ever the cost
Chorus
It’s all the
Things you do not just
what you say that’s
important
Send your
loving kindness to
all the beings
near and far
Chorus
Instrumental chorus
Don’t hold
On to the pain
you must welcome all of life’s
Feelings
Sending
Love to world ain’t the
end it’s just the
beginning
